I've been able to wear these at home and play instead of wearing my sandals with my prescription orthotics. They have really been great for me,and didn't require break-in time. I think they will hold their support longer than my CROCS did.

I desparately wanted to make them work, even bought a ball cushion to see whether it might push my foot into a more comfortable position. Did not work. I am sad to have to return them, because they were exactly what I wanted. I just know I could not stand on them for any period of time without pain. They may fit your foot better, though.

Salomon Impact 8 CS I bought these before a trip to Walt Disney World not knowing how my feet would feel at the end of the day. (Not smart of me to not test run ANY shoe first.)Well, I got lucky and these ended up being the most comfortable sneaker I've ever owned. My feet were absolutely fine at the end of an exhausting day. My Mother now owns two pairs for herself. She has trouble bending over to put sneakers on and these help. I plan on buying another pair for myself within the near future.
